Goldsboro Machine Works Inc was founded in 1977 as a fabrication machine shop. The company has made many changes over the years, investing in new technologies and employee training, to become a quality production machine shop.
In October 2000, DeAnna McCullen became the owner of the company. She brought over 10 years of engineering and manufacturing experience along with a vision for growth to the company. She continues to make manufacturing improvements to reduce cost and lead time in a competitive market. Many of the improvements have been through upgrades in technologies such as:
- Multi-axis CNC
- Multi-spindle CNC equipment
- CAD/CAM software.
Our employees receive on-going training in 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles as well as quality and safety.
Goldsboro Machine Works, Inc. continues to make many improvements in the area of quality. The existing company quality policy is ISO 9001-2000 equivalent. The company is currently working towards becoming ISO 9001-2000 and AS9100 certified by the year 2010.
